Unnao Rape Case: Survivor’s Family and Activists Protest Outside Delhi High Court
Background of the Case :- The Unnao rape case has remained one of the most talked‑about crimes in India’s recent history. Former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar was convicted in 2017 and sentenced to life imprisonment. However, the Delhi High Court’s recent decision to suspend his sentence has reignited anger and disappointment among the survivor’s family and rights activists.
